An psychological journey from old Nazi Germany to an odd colored gang of inhabitants living in an old, dilapidated house at the woods in south of Sweden. The visual voyage starts in the, at that point, attractive Grandmas jet set-life in and around the second world-war glamorous high Nazi circles. Transfers to an imaginary bughouse, a bughouse that not has the possibility to decide what happened when, or which happened at all- in the body of the house and in the souls who seems to live together there.
The real and true story is that Grandma, after she lived her glamorous life during the war went to mental hospital for a decennium, and after that moved to the farm in the woods of south Sweden, who belonged to a lonely older farmer. There Grandma can live through her memories and spin on her growing madness. Ten years after her and the farmers death, grandmas grandchild and a gang of people with her, take over the house and all of its belongings. Everything is left, just as the old couple just left for a week ago.
They grow in to the house, into the stories about grandma herself, the surroundings, and the people living in there. Both theirs and grandmas life starts to accrete, and the different realities at two different times transforms into two parallel universes.
